Hayley wasn’t an adult when that happened though. She was a teenager. She responded like a teenager. It’s not fair of people to hold her to some standard because she’s famous. Was it a good thing to do? No. Did it make sense? Yes. Fans have these absolutely unrealistic expectations of her as a person, and it’s so ridiculous. I mean that’s why I said it was understandable why she did it. I can’t say that if I were in the same situation that I would have acted any differently, I probably would have snapped too. But we agree that it wasn’t the “right” thing to do. I’m not saying she’s an awful person because she made a mistake but I do think it was a mistake.
